And so my Contiki begins...AAAh dear Amsterdam...I had the most amazing time there! This was the first part of the Contiki, there was much to be learn't in Amsterdam and we sure did!

I must just say off the bat that the department stores are something to marvel about with esquiusite clothing and brands!

We had a lot of activities to go through while in Amsterdam,we did a little cycle toor in Edam and we did some cheese tasting, not to forget the Clog making, have a look at my supper cool "pink clogs"!

I got to taste these amazing waffle like biscuits called "Bakker Joop", no words can describe how delicious they were, I should seriously import some to South Africa!

House sitting for two weeks has really got me thinking about "springing the coop".Don't get me wrong, living at home has its perks: washing done, food on demand, nanny for my dog, safety, this list goes on.....
Anyways I have been considering my own place or sharing with a friend,as usual my daydreaming kicked in and I started thinking about what my place could potentially be inspired by. Have a look at the pics above. If this isn't inspiration then I don't know what is! There are 3 rooms in particular that I will give special attention to:my bedrom, the kitchen and of coarse my closet which will have a room dedicated to it:)

What better than a great pair of heels with daring print on them! I am a sucker for a sexy pair of heels, but I find myself looking for the most eye catching pair,as it totally transforms an outfit. Have a look at the images above, these are some of the shoes I came accross while on the hunt for the perfect pair of wildly strange heels:) I threw in some flats as they come in handy after a night of hard partying!
My favourite pair would have to be the rose pink wedge with the floral detail.

Attended my first winter wedding the other day, even though it is not officially winter yet,it was very cold and I was forced to change my outfit because of it! I found this really great feather headband which I thought added a pop of old Hollywood glamour to my outfit! It was so wierd wearing stocking for the forst time this year, more so that 20 minutes into the church service I already had a run in my stocking...

Decided on a change in my hairdo..loving my bangs!

Ruffly a year ago, I went on an incredible journey around Europe and London. I sat going through all my photos and think I need to share some of the beautiful things I experienced and learn't. All in all I visited 10 countries in 23 days.

This was an experience of a life time and it's true what they say, once you are bitten by the travel bug you just cannot stop! Not to mention that the shopping is ridiculously fabulous, wish I could climb on a jet and be whisked to Europe every time I want to do some shopping!

To start off I stayed in Central London (Piccadilly Circus) for two days and also two days at the end of my trip just before I embarked on my European Inspiration Contiki Tour. My time was limited so I had to get as much site seeing done, not to forget shopping! Once I hit Regent and Oxford street, my credit card went into full working mode,so much so I needed an extra luggage bag,but I must say,I did find many treasures. I also did a bit of shopping in Camden, which to my surprise was equally pleasant. I hoped on a tour bus around central London and was able to snap up pics of some of London's greatest treasures. Have a look at my pics to see what I got up too!

I was stocked to find that they were filming an episode of the Amazing Race at Heathrow airport. The contestants sat and chatted very near to where I waited to board my flight back home! My Starbucks obsession also started in London, hence the pic!
