Stripe Tease

As you can tell,this is my last attempt at summer wear ....with a touch of warmth. I clearly have a problem with letting go of the fact that the lovely warm summer days are fading away! As much as I love all the layering and accessorizing in winter,summer is what I live for. Winter makes me sad sad sad... I think I should curl up into a ball and someone should wake me up in spring??? Let's not even begin with the body issues after winter...I am still trying to get over some now...eeeek it never ends!

My outfit was inspired by endless day dreaming (at work) of a beautiful afternoon picnic on a yacht with some bubbly and a nice canvas to look at....oopsie let me get back to work...

This Easter long weekend I...

Caught up on some much needed #fashion magazines.

Mixed Turquoise and Pink together and found it quite pleasant.

Bought my doggie "Rocco", toys for Easter.



Was tempted by the chocolate bunnies:)



Borrowed the RS for the weekend.



Came across my feature in the March issue of Cleo Magazine (pg 121). The title of the feature was: "Cleo readers confess where their money goes".



Made some traditional Portuguese cake"Bolo de Rei" (King Cake).



Started a "Travel Fund".

Vintage Chic

When I bought this blouse I felt the need to create a vintage look,now I know this isn't your typical vintage look,but hey I am not your typical vintage girl. My inpirations come from blogs like: Glossary and Sterling Style just to name a few.
I love the colour of this blouse and it is super comfy,note my nails are matching (this was not intentional). To top it all off this look makes me feel so girly!
The whether is changing which means soon I will be reading international blogs and enviously craving summer again! All this rain is definately not helping my mood ease into winter!But I have a theory,I am blaming the Rain Gods,specifically #thenative (you know who you are)!

Black Magic

I have always been a big fan of black clothing,and now with winter looming closer and closer my body seems to crave black clothing even more. Black clothing also has this sexiness to it,no matter how simple and casual you wear it. I added a leopard print belt to it just to break the dark on dark.

Oh in case you wondering, these pics were taken on the kitchen counter,my mother was not too impressed but I got away with it for the sake of #fashion! Some of these pics were taken by my brother (yes can you believe it), he has some what started to appreciate fashion blogs...well I am sure you know why!

RoadTrip (Daniela and Jade)

This weekend Katia and I decided to go on a little road trip, go figure we got stuck in some traffic on the way home so we decided to have a little photoshoot in the car, suffice to say our fellow drivers on either side found it very entertaining! We ended up doing a little shopping in a random fleamarket and we stopped for some lunch on the way back home. How fabulous is Katia's Pink watch:) I want to steal it!
