I work in the Motor Industry if most of you do not know. Which means I am dressed quite corporate most of the time. Once a week we visit our agency for a weekly status update on work we are doing so when i'ts off site I make sure I make the most of it. Apologies in advance,I look so tired in the photo!

I love jeans, so my outfit is always semi casual. Here is a quick photo I took before heading off to work. Winter is well on its way as I find myself crabbing a cardigan when ever I head out.

I am in love with my studded shoes, I looked all over for them:) They also come in black and a light pink.

THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL – ultimate tribute to Whitney Houston

Last week I attended the #Greatestloveofall show. It was my first time at the Joburg Theatre,or any theatre for that matter. All I can say is Belinda Davids has true talent. I could not believe how much she sounded like the great diva herself,even her look was spot on. Just to think she is proudly South African, she is definitely someone to look out for. I found myself singing along to songs and dancing at some of the more up beat tracks:)

I landed up taking my mom with me as my +1,it was the perfect gift as part of my Mother's day surprises! I took a few pictures in the theatre,but my little digital camera just didn't do any justice.

Forum Homini Roots treat

I recently attended a blogger lunch at Roots - Forum Homini. I started off my day by getting lost and driving through someones else's farm (I hate getting lost). However, I soon found my way as I drove through the Letamo Wildlife Estate gates, I realised just how beautiful my surroundings were.

I also got to meet some amazing bloggers who I have only ever chatted to on Twitter:) We were presented with a delicious 5 course brunch,while we chatted away:)

Forum Homini is situated near the Cradle of human kind, it also boasts being on of  Eat Out's Top 10 restaurant's for the past four years running. This restaurant is truelly a hidden gem, I would have never expected to find such a lovely spot here. It is about a 60 minute drive out of Pretoria, but its a pleasant drive, and if you plan your day well,there are some amazing activities to do around town, things like:

• Hot air Balloon Safaris
• Elephant Riding
• Spa's
• Cable Car ride's
• Rhino and lion nature reserve

The venue also offers a beautiful amphitheatre for elegant and intimate weddings. The surrounding views are the lake and African veld which is so relaxing.The venue also accomodates facilities for executive meetings and team building.

We were given a tour of the rooms which are amazing, the decor is unique and very comfortable. The rooms were given a lot of attention to detail,so that you feel as comfy as possible. I was quite impressed at how amazing the bath and shower's were.

We also got to tour the Honey moon Suite which was incredible, they have definately gone out of their way to spoil a bridal party.You also have a lot of privacy,well exept for your odd buck or two:)

As you all know, I recently attended a #GAPSA styling session at the GAP store in Sandton, the lovely ladies from Grazia magazine challenged us to style the pair of jeans we got to take home, so here is my style:)

I typically wear skinny jeans but quite liked these boot leg cut. They are very comfortable and I love the colour of the denim. You will notice that they are slightly too log for me, I will be getting them tailored soon so that I can rock them with all kinds of shoes!

Interior Inspiration: Lauren Conrad's home

Some of you might not know this but I still live at home with the parents. Yes i know - I am old enough to live on my own. Technically being portuguese, it's quite a common thing to still be living at home. Yesterday was a public holiday here in South Africa (Worker's Day) and the more I look around the more I realise that either I am a hoarder or my living space is becoming way to small. Lets be honest, I only have my room to staore all my stuff in. Where as if I had my own place I would have all the space in the world! Well you know, a one or two bedrooom place - OMW if I had an extra room i could turn into a closet I would be in heaven:)

So I was looking around online to find clever storage ideas and I came accross Lauren Conrad's house and I fell in love all over again. Now more than ever I am seriously thinking of leaving the nest. Her interior styling detail is amazing, she uses everyday closet items and outs them on display which makes for the perfect decrotive peice.
